I went to Notre Dame to earn my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, concentrating on biomolecular engineering. As a college student, I was able to tutor elementary school students in English literacy, instruct a prep course for the math section of the SAT, and tutor college students in various STEM-related subjects. My specialty is test preparation for exams like the SAT, GRE, and ACT. I like to focus on tests because they are the moment where students can directly influence their academic success in a positive way. I also really like helping students learn about calculus, trigonometry, geometry, and algebra. I know that every student learns in their own unique way, so I adjust my approach based on the learning method that works best for each student. I'm looking forward to pursuing my doctorate in biological engineering, and I hope to become a professor and researcher in the future. When I have spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar, basketball, going to the beach, sailing, and baseball.
