Experience
I fell in love with tutoring by the time I started high school. I started helping students one-on-one before and after school. I helped peers in almost all subject areas, from music and writing to science and math. I have always enjoyed helping other people understand new things and watching their face light up when they understand it at last. For me, it is one of the best feelings in the world. I have a lot of experience that has shaped me into the tutor I am today. I am the daughter of an English teacher, I have always understood the value of education and got to see first-hand the good that a little one-on-one attention can do. Right now, I am attending Northeastern Illinois University, where I am working on my Bachelor of Music Education. I play the clarinet and love music. I want to one day become a band director for high school students. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA during my studies and am a Presidential Scholar. I am very hard-working and dedicated to helping students achieve academic greatness. When I am not in the classroom, I love playing with my dogs, listening to music, and exploring my city.
