Education

University of Illinois at Chicago - Current Undergrad, Biological Sciences

Experience

I'm currently attending the University of Illinois at Chicago for my biological sciences degree. I am premed as well, I'm looking forward to a career as a physician. As a tutor, I love helping students with math, psychology, biology, and chemistry. I began tutoring as a high school junior, assisting students at the middle school level in STEM subjects. I provided individual tutoring and also taught in the classroom. I work for the peer health exchange through UIC, where I visit classrooms in public schools and teach children about health issues. I'm comfortable working with students at all ages and levels of ability in subjects like elementary and middle school math, English, writing, algebra, adult literacy, medicine, emergency medicine, geometry, reading, ACT prep, PSAT prep, SAT prep, and more. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and volleyball. I also like to exercise and lift weights, watch medical shows, and volunteer.
