ExperienceI am an affirmed lifelong learner. I'm always trying to learn new things, including how to become a better teacher. I enjoy working with students to help them overcome difficulties in understanding the subjects I tutor. Oftentimes, students just need to communicate about a subject to lock in their understanding and get motivated about their success. I tutor algebra, elementary school math, middle school math, pre-algebra, English, ESL, special education, test preparation, and more. In my free time, I enjoy fitness. I like to ride my bike, lift weights, and do yoga. I also enjoy exploring the city, learning about cultures, and trying new foods. In addition, I'm teaching myself to cook.
HobbiesI enjoy different forms of exercise, including biking, strength training, and yoga. I also enjoy going to different neighborhoods in the city to explore, enjoy, and appreciate foods from all different cultures. I am also starting to learn how to cook, so I try to use one new recipe a week in order to improve my cooking skills.
