I am an affirmed lifelong learner. I'm always trying to learn new things, including how to become a better teacher. I enjoy working with students to help them overcome difficulties in understanding the subjects I tutor. Oftentimes, students just need to communicate about a subject to lock in their understanding and get motivated about their success. I tutor algebra, elementary school math, middle school math, pre-algebra, English, ESL, special education, test preparation, and more. In my free time, I enjoy fitness. I like to ride my bike, lift weights, and do yoga. I also enjoy exploring the city, learning about cultures, and trying new foods. In addition, I'm teaching myself to cook.
