I earned my bachelor of arts degree in philosophy at Princeton University. I worked for a few years before heading on to UC - Berkeley to earn my master of arts degree in history. As a graduate student, I instructed philosophy and history courses at the undergraduate level. I also worked in test preparation, leading courses in GRE and SAT prep. I then moved to Europe and really enjoyed it there, so I enrolled in the University of Edinburgh to complete a doctoral degree in history. I tutor a number of different subjects, but my specialties are history, English, and reading. I also excel in test preparation, and I've been able to help many students increase their test scores and improve admissions essays. I'm excited to help students with literature, writing, essays, history, GRE prep, SAT prep, AP history and government courses, IB philosophy and theory of knowledge, and others. In my spare time, I like to cook, listen live music, and travel.
