I graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Northwestern University in 2015. While pursuing my college degree, I also specialized in English and digital media. At the moment, I am working in advertising and user experience. Throughout my time in college, I worked as a tutor and helped a number of people from all walks of life improve their classroom knowledge. Along with helping my peers prepare for tests, I tutored middle and high school students at a nearby township. One of the reasons why I love tutoring so much is because I enjoy sharing my own experiences and knowledge with people in the hopes of empowering them and helping them succeed. My teaching experience has taught me the importance of confidence and motivation, which is why I work to build a rapport with each of my students so that I know more about what drives them, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. I have experience teaching a number of courses, including public speaking, English, and math. I especially enjoy teaching speaking and writing because I believe that being able to express yourself eloquently is one of the most important skills to have. When I'm not teaching, I love learning more about design and user experience, as well as eating donuts and playing basketball.
