I'm attending the University of Illinois - Chicago for my undergraduate degree in biology on the premed track. I tutored as a high school student and also helped peers informally. My tutoring specialties are math and Spanish. With Spanish, I'm comfortable helping students with the first two years of Spanish learning. With mathematics, I can tutor students from beginning topics through calculus 1. I explain concepts by relating them to things the student knows or is interested in to increase engagement and understanding. When I have some free time, I enjoy practicing photography, doing crafts, getting out in nature, volunteering, and exploring the city.
