I have an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Wheaton College. Currently, I am earning my certification at Wheaton's Graduate School for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.I have always had a love for learning. I began tutoring as a high schooler. I tutored clients of all ages, ranging from five to forty-five. I taught English to native Czech-speakers and Czech to native English-speakers. The piano was another thing I tutored in during high school. While I was in college, my love for writing quickly became an eagerness for helping other people write. For three years during college, I worked in the writing center on campus.I am an expert in essays up to the graduate level, grammar and mechanics, and editing. I also specialize in prepping high schoolers for the writing and verbal sections of the SAT. My real passion lies in writing. I consider writing as a craft. My tutoring style includes equipping my clients with a sense of ownership over their writing. When I am not tutoring, you can find me running, gardening, cooking, and writing.
