My work specializes in helping students develop strong academic skills while cultivating capabilities that will position them for success. That work includes strengthening study skills, time management, reading comprehension, and content specific instruction. Specifically, this includes essay writing, History, Literature, and the Social Sciences. Currently, I work as a college advisor and counselor, instructing and advising students as they make the difficult transition from high school college. Crucially, I operate from a growth mindset with a firm belief that any student can achieve their goals and academic success. This approach is guided by a holistic model of instruction that includes but is not limited by achieving short term goals of mastering material for an exam or writing a strong paper. Together, I help students uncover how best they learn while preparing them for sustained academic success in the future.
