I have 20+ years of tutoring experience in math and science. I teach students across various grades. I specialize in algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, physics, chemistry and biology. Some students have stayed with me for over 10+ years and have ended up in colleges like Stanford, Northwestern University, University of Chicago, UIUC and Notredame. I have MS in Chemical Engineering and MBA from University of Chicago.I currently tutor students all the way from 3rd grade to high school. I believe every student has the ability to be good in math. However, students differ in how they conceptualize different topics. I not only understand my students strengths and weaknesses, I also understand their learning style and personalize my instruction plan to drive optimal benefit to my students. I just love science! Physics, chemistry and biology. Mostly students fail in science, because instead of understanding the concepts, they try to memorize. I really focus on understanding. My goal is to make all my students fall in love with science. I would love to help any student who wants to improve and is passionate about learning. I am a parent myself, so I understand the stress that parents feel when their child is not meeting their academic potential. I am confident that I would be able to help students achieve their goals. The one thing I want students and parents to understand is that there are no shortcuts. It's a process and we all have to work at it together.
