Since then I have been self studying in Japanese and French to further my abilities as a tutor and language learner.
Experience
For the past 2 years I have been building my personal tutoring business Frog Walker Language. Currently I have 4 regular private students. In addition to this I teach four group classes at a Co-Op of homeschool students here in Chicago. Online I lead weekly group lessons in French and Japanese on Takelessons.com Before creating my personal practice I tutored for DePaul University - editing native speakers writing, as well as holding cultural conversation groups with foreign exchange students. I've been employed as an editor by wikiHow, and have facilitated multi-lingual communications Esquire Magazine. I hold JLPT N3 certificate and an IB diploma.

Hobbies
At the top of my list would be food, fitness, and foreign culture. I was raised around good cooks, and have been blessed with friends with just as much talent. Some of my favorite dishes: Chana Masala, Pork Adobo, Arugula salad. I train in Chi Gong and San Da with a Shaolin Grandmaster in Chinatown, Chicago. Having a physical practice is truly empowering and relaxing to me. Art, politics, public opinion; these things interest me greatly, especially coming from other countries. I curate profiles on YouTube and Twitter of major news outlets and cultural taste makers (big and small) to cultivate my global awareness and appreciation.
