It started in high school, when I used to tutor classmates unofficially over breaks and after class. The counselor eventually recommended me to parents and I began to tutor younger students for money. I continued to tutor throughout college and once I graduated started a part-time tutoring business in addition to my regular job. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing my knowledge and helping others on their academic journey. Besides tutoring, I've spent over six years working first as an engineer and then in a strategic planning function.

Hobbies
I love to eat -- I truly enjoy a vast variety of foods. I also love to travel (and the foods of the places I visit!). I've been to over 20 countries so far and am (hopefully) just getting started. I really enjoy music (although I'm not any good at it). I play a little piano, guitar, and saxophone (tenor). I have a BIG family spread out across the world. My favorite times of the year are when we're all together. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen very often so when my family is not around, I try to fill the void with good times with great friends :)
