Hobbies

During my journey as a teacher, I have discovered that my true passion is to build connections with students, and help them reach their learning goals. I offer individualized support for each student that will help them meet their learning goals. I began my teaching journey as a reading assistant, and that is where my heart lies - in helping students read and write with confidence. I am also proficient in many instructional strategies for mathematics, and can provide your student with the skills necessary to build a strong math foundation. In the 21st century, everyone is a lifelong learner. I feel that as an educator, the best thing we can do for our students is to instill a love of learning. To do this, I provide several opportunities to ensure that each student is successful in his or her own way. My exuberant personality and patient nature encourage students to achieve their personal best. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy travel, reading, and spending time with my family.
