Experience
I love to learn, and I believe that a great education not only improves our quality of life, but is also a source of major enjoyment and fun! I tutor students in a wide range of academic subjects. I am most passionate about reading, writing, and helping students with standardized test prep, particularly for the SAT and ACT. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology and anthropology from Washington University in Saint Louis. I also was honored as a Howard Nemerov Writing Scholar. For five years after graduating, I worked for Writers House in New York City as a junior agent/editor. Writers House is an esteemed literary agency that supports clients such as Nora Roberts, Michael Lewis, Stephen Hawking, Stephanie Meyer, and John Green. I am a lifelong learner. I read as many books as I can, I like to try new cooking recipes, and I play guitar. I also have fun cheering for Everton in the English Premier League, seeing movies, and, much to my girlfriend's dismay, rollerblading through the city of Chicago.
