In 2015 I graduated from Ben Gurion University (Israel) with a BA in Psychology and Cognitive Sciences (Program for Excellent Students), with a GPA of 3.8. My concentration in cognitive sciences was Linguistics.
Experience
I have taught different subjects privately, in classes at university and large groups in informal settings. I love languages! Growing up in Israel, Hebrew is my native tongue, and Jewish-Israeli culture is my own. I find that sharing this beautiful language is a treat, opening up people's minds to a totally different kind of language. I have studied German for over 7 years, starting in "Goethe Institut", the official school for German endorsed by the German embassy, reaching level C1. I've put much emphasis on natural, commonly-spoken German, by surrounding myself both socially and professionally with German. I've also worked as a German-speaking social guide for German students at the my university (BGU, Israel). I have tutored beginning students of German, as well as students of advanced levels, and complex Grammar. I have a BA in Psychology and Cognitive Sciences. My education specialized in this great interest of mine - human consciousness and its different aspects - biological, physical, phenomenal, linguistic and philosophical. During my university years, I have taught an Intro to Psychology class to adults, and have personally tutored university students in lower years. I love to teach! That's why I try to teach as much as possible. My love of teaching began early on, beginning from simply explaining something to a friend. My emphasis is on an interactive, personalised, and joyful process of teaching and learning. My lessons are shaped to the greatest degree to the interests, wishes and abilities of my students. *This is a joint voyage! Hobbies
My biggest passion in life is Improvisation. I've been improvising theatre for the past 5 years, have studied and taught in Israel, established a successful ensemble, and have taken up classes in Amsterdam, iO Chicago and San Francisco. Improv finds itself into my teaching, naturally. Music - guitar, piano and singing, is my second biggest passion after improv (and is of course interwoven in it!).
