Jonathan B.
Private tutor in Chicago, IL
Education
I have a bachelor's of art in history, with a minor in creative writing. I graduated in May of 2015 from the University of Tennessee with a 3.35 GPA. My research focused on relationships between food and power, global economics, and food and culture. As far as creative writing goes, I have experience in fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction.
Experience
I worked at a tutoring center for East Tennessee State University, and I have tutored friends and classmates since high school. I have taken a broad spectrum of history classes, from the beginning of human civilization to the turn of the 21st century. I have taken several writing classes, essential math and statistics classes, and four years of German language and culture classes. I want to be a tutor because I like being involved in academia and helping others in areas where I can. I want to be a professor in the future, so helping students is something I both enjoy and need experience in.
