Experience
I am an upper elementary teacher, and have passed all of my certification exams for the elementary school level. I also obtained my teaching license from Calumet College in St. Joseph. Prior to that, I attended the University of Chicago, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Economics. I now reside in Chicago, Illinois. With a degree in Economics, Math is one subject I know well. I offer assistance with Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Business, and Statistics. I also help with more basic Math classes, such as Algebra, Geometry and elementary and middle school Mathematics. Writing is another subject I enjoy tutoring. I enjoy writing myself, and think it is one of the most rewarding things to teach a student. Seeing a student go from not knowing how to read or write to finally understanding what the words mean is one of the best feelings a tutor can have. I assist with Writing, Reading, Grammar and Mechanics, and Essay Editing. I even tutor students in Public Speaking, helping them become more comfortable giving speeches and communicating effectively. In my free time, I love distance running and playing ultimate Frisbee.
