Experience
I went to Michigan State University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Mathematics. While enrolled at Michigan State, I worked as an assistant teacher in a middle school mathematics classroom. Upon graduating, I've worked professionally as a tutor with West Shore Community College, where I also acted as the lead tutor and ran the Mathematics Center. My expertise in math is extensive, and I feel comfortable working with students in elementary, middle, high school, and college. My specialties are Elementary Mathematics, Middle School Mathematics, Calculus I-IV, Advanced Placement Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra I-IV, Statistics (including at the graduate level), and Arithmetic. Children and young people need effective guidance in order to succeed. Studying Math imparts important skills in critical thinking and logic that are helpful to solving all types of life problems. Tutoring, for me, is a way to positively influence students. In terms of hobbies, I can't get enough soccer. I enjoy it, whether to play, coach, referee, or watch. Being healthy and active is really important to me, and my lifestyle includes staying fit, exercising, and playing many different kinds of sports.
