EducationI will be going into my Junior year as a Musical Theatre major at Columbia College Chicago.
ExperienceI have a younger brother and sister who are high school and middle school age and I helped them with their homework all while I lived at home. I miss doing it because I love helping people understand things and I don't get a lot of math practice at an arts school. I want to help your child understand math and try to make it easier for them to learn than it is in a large class. I was a year ahead of my grade in math in high school and tested out of the first two levels of college math. I am also very familiar with mental disorders (ADD, ADHD, depression, bipolar) and general behavioral issues in the classroom and at home. I have a very unique patience for kids who struggle with these problems. Although I have not real 'tutoring' experience, I have a lot of experience with kids (growing up with younger siblings, working at The Little Gym, cheerleading camps, dance classes) and I am anxious to help!
HobbiesI spend most of my time in school or at rehearsal but if I'm not doing either of those you can find me seeing plays all over the city, going for walks, singing, playing with my kitten or doing the Sudoku and Crossword puzzles out of the newspaper.
