Hobbies

I love teaching and tutoring, especially explaining how things work to my students! I taught private piano lessons for three years (my students were ages 5, 7, and 9--they were so adorable!), dance class for two years (my dancers were the absolute cutest!), as well as tutored my peers all throughout high school. As for my interests in school...while I'm not busy doing schoolwork, I unwind by baking pastries and cooking for other broke college students! I am also an avid tennis player on the club team, the general body meeting planner for the Asian-American Student Association, a dance choreographer, an MC for our large spring performance, and I have been doing research in the field of yeast genetics since my freshman year of college and mathematics research since spring of 2014. I am very much a "people" person, and would love to get to know your student and help him or her out!
