EducationStudent at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
ExperienceI took the MCAT early 2011 and scored a 39 (p-12,v-12,b-15). By reviewing broad, basic knowledge and understanding how the MCAT asks questions, MCAT science can become not easy but beatable. I don't believe in any of the Verbal section 'tricks,' there is time to read all the passages and questions thoroughly and in order, it just requires the right study material (Big fan of Examkrackers!!) and lots of practice.
I also tutor other science topics including biology, chemistry, genetics, physics and organic chemistry, at both the high school and college levels.
Undergrad GPA: 3.8/4.0
AP biology score: 5/5
In addition to private tutoring work, I have 3 years of tutoring experience in college level biology and physics through GUTS and AAP at the University of Wisconsin.
